This wonderful Senior came all the way from Pocatello for her portrait session. We really enjoyed each other and had a great time. Isn’t she just gorgeous?!

A BIG SHOUT out to the Coffins who referred her, they are cousins. We appreciate you so much!

Kimberly and her husband, Josh, came in for a maternity portrait session back in May. She was 36 weeks pregnant at the time.  I felt so honored to capture this special time in their lives as they prepared for their new baby.  Kimberly enjoys yoga and opera in her spare time, while Josh loves to golf…though with a new baby in their lives now, I’ll be they are putting those actives on the back burner for now.  A huge congratulations to you, Kimberly and Josh!

What a great couple Marleen and Bob are – not to mention they have so much energy!  I really enjoyed them.  Their daughter recently got married and I was so bummed not to be her wedding photographer.  They asked me first, but bottom line is their daughter’s wedding does not trump my son’s graduation – LOL, we laughed about that.  Often we overlook the parents for the children, which is fine, but seeing Bob and Marleen value their relationship and being privileged to document that was wonderful!  Now they have a new wall portrait over their fireplace and a book of treasured memories of the two of them.  I think that is super!

Look at my new toy!! I recently purchased some underwater housing for my Canon G12 camera to shoot some underwater photography and I’m super excited about it!  The Canon G12 is a great camera for a small price.  It shoots raw and I like to use it for play because it is light in weight.  I tried it out the other day with my new underwater casing and because the water wasn’t clear enough it was a total FAIL.  You could call it a “professional development” kind of thing, but I will try it again soon and hopefully post some pictures. It was very fun nonetheless!

Such a sweet young family and so great to work with. We felt honored to take their family portraits.  Kylee’s mom came across one of our Groupon Deals and purchased it for Kylee and Sean as a gift.  We hope they love their portraits as much as we do!!

Have you heard about the Traveling Red Dress? We were selected, based on our website, by a blogger back east to photograph a local lady in a red dress that was sent to her. http://thebloggess.com/2012/01/the-traveling-red-dress-revisited/
This has been a wonderful experience, we will post a slideshow of our red dress lady later today!! https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Traveling-Red-Dress/150889871693313

Dylan is a musician and a very intelligent young man.  He is a drummer and plays for the marching band.  And look at how photogenic he is!  We think his pictures turned out great and hope he likes them as much as we do!
